Development

Memory’s Reach is the second title from 100 Stones Interactive, the studio behind the award-winning, critically acclaimed puzzle adventure The Eyes of Ara, and label of solo developer Ben Droste, an industry veteran with credits including Star Wars, Spyro the Dragon, and Viva Piñata.

“The vastness of the universe and the endless possibilities for what lies beyond our telescope sparks a curiosity in me, opening pathways to new ideas,” said Droste. “I hope this game’s mystifying sights and sounds—so foreign as to seem like magic—encourages players to likewise stay curious about the world around them.”

Memory’s Reach reveals its secrets first on PC and Mac via Steam, followed by the full release on all current generation consoles.

Quotes

“A Metroid Prime with no combat, thoughtful puzzles and an interesting story? Hook it into my veins. I played Memory’s Reach on Friday and it remained my game of PAX for the remainder of the show.”
Kotaku AU – PAX Aus 2023: Renee’s Annual Indie Roundup

“For those that love the Metroid style of slowly expanding a map and doubling back with upgraded abilities, Memory’s Reach can scratch that itch. It’s also got some of the most striking 3D visuals of any game at the show.”
